HOAX!

THE DANGERS OF SEEKING THE TRUTH!

The following are some examples of what happens when we step forward to investigate all claims and stories so that we can find the truth and share it with you... our listeners and all people interested in the truth!

This first letter was posted on the front page of our site in the third week of January, 2010. We had received a call from some people who claimed to have received a "death threat" from our government for interfering with a top secret program to breed or raise creatures that we recognize as "Bigfoot". We understand that claims like these may not always be credible, but it is our job and part of our obligation to you to share them as we hear them. We then attempt to verify if these are credible stories or not. We do not judge the people who are willing to share their stories with us, we simply share them with you as we see or hear them, and when we see or hear them. Until we either verify them or discredit them, we make no judgments about them or the people who are willing to share them.

We attempt to treat anyone who confides in us with the utmost respect and work hard to make sharing stories or experiences, with or about this creature, a comfortable experience. We want people to understand that we do not judge them and we are interested in hearing and sharing their experiences. We begin with the premise that most people are honest and serious about their stories. We know that there are always exceptions to this rule and that there are many people out there who simply want attention or are attempting to perpetrate an actual hoax.

The SFBI team has been the target of this kind of unethical behavior in the past. People would try to take advantage of our dedication to attempt to root out the truth, and use us to promote their agendas. We are aware of that risk and willing to take the risk so that we may get to the truth. However, this time they are going too far!

After sharing the story about the possible death threats to those anonymous people from Arkansas on the Bigfoot Live Radio Show and then posting the alleged letter,(letter#1), on our website, one of our listeners received a letter,(letter#2), at their home. I have posted a copy of that letter#2 below, following letter#1.

The SFBI team feels that this is going way too far! This time, we are going to take what ever action we need to attempt put a stop to this cruel and possibly criminal behavior! The SFBI team has been and will probably continue to be a target for this type of unethical behavior, but we will not stand for it to be targeted towards our friends and audience!

We have no proof that the first letter, (letter#1), from the people in Arkansas is either real or false, and we are still working at verification of this story and we are not implying anything negative about those people who shared it with us. However, by us posting that letter, it seems to have opened the door for a very unscrupulous person to attempt to entice one of our friends to share personal information and possibly get involved in some type of hoax.

Read the letter that follows the Arkansas one. We did our normal cursory investigation on it and found it cleary was a fraudulent letter. We have not yet been able to identify the perpetrator, but we will! And when we do, we are going to see if there is any legal action available for us to take. This is where you all come in. Please look closely at the letter and see if you can help us to determine the identity of the sender. We know that we have some of the best and most intelligent people in the world following our work. Hopefully, one of you can help us and be part of the solution for this problem!

LETTER #1

SEARCHING FOR BIGFOOT INC. REALLY NEEDS YOUR HELP AND EXPERTIZE!!

As those of you who follow us on The Bigfoot Live Radio Show already know, we have been in touch with some people who claimed to have seen and shot a creature. Unfortunately, they told us they came under duress because of the US Government, aledgedly having a Top Secret experiment going on that these people interrupted. Below is a letter they claimed to have recieved from the CIA. They have recently contacted Tom and explained that they cannot continue discussing this issue with us. It appears that they are in fear for their lives???!!!

LETTER #2

WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT of FISH AND WILDLIFE

Mrs. XXXXXXXXXX, Our agency, Washington Department of Human Resources / Fish and Wildlife division, has received information of your involvement and knowledge of Government run investigations and studies of the unknown hominids found in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.

The Wildlife Science Division's primary responsibilities are to conduct scientific investigations of priority wildlife species and habitats in Washington, provide statistical analysis and support, manage wildlife heritage and population data, and provide GIS analysis and support to the Wildlife Program. In addition we provide expertise, technical information and quantitative analysis to other programs both inside and outside the Agency. We maintain close working relationships with the scientific community outside of the agency and provide direct support from the United Sates Government, primarily from the Department of Interiors.

Mrs. XXXXXXXXXX, first let me introduce myself, my name is Kent Manslee and I work for the Department of Natural Resources / Fish and Wildlife Division. My department has been tasked to search for any evidence of Sasquatch / Bigfoot in the Pierce County area, the reason we are intrigued with this geographic area, is because sightings have risen by over 127%, in year 2009 and we expect even higher activity in year 2010.

The reason we are contacting you is because your name has been brought to our attention in various research expeditions. Our research team is asking to add you to our volunteer list in our search for any evidence in the southeastern Pierce County area; we are in need of any help you could provide. We report directly to the United States Government and your involvement in future expeditions will be under close surveillance. It is very imperative that our research expeditions and data remain confidential. At any time that we feel that the confidentiality has been breached through email, phone calls, media or other expedition efforts, you will be immediately eliminated from our team and all data information will be confiscated. We ask that you collect any and all information that you have obtained in your own research. This will be added to our data as possible evidence in our investigation studies.
