HEY JAVABOB; The Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. Bigfoot Response Team on November 27th, 2007 traveled to Salem, Oregon to meet with our contacts in the area, Joey Lowell and Charlene Henry in response to recent activity in the area.

The SFBI Team consisting of Tom Biscardi, TJ Biscardi, Steve Kulls, Tim McMillen , and cameraman Brian Mazzola scouted the area in the daylight hours, and upon exitting the area discovered a Ford Truck, which had within hours had crashed over the nearby embankment, finding it's lights still on. The team immediately went to see if there were any survivors and discovered that the occupant or occumpants had left the scene already via the back window. The team advised the police and returned to the base of operations in preparation of the night surveillance.

That evening the team returned the area of activity and met with Charlene Henry and her daughter and set trip cams, and surveillance cameras. Although the team heard movement in the forests surrounding the gravel pit under surveillance, no sightings or vocalizations were noted and noises heard may have been attributed to local wildlife.

Joey and Charlene will continue with perserverance on surveillance of the area, and will keep SFBI updated as the BRT continues their journey.

Oregon_November_07

The Searching for Bigfoot Team traveled to Oregon to meet with our contacts Charlene Henry and Joey Lowell to investigate tracks Lowell had found and an encounter where a creature had thrown rocks at Lowell and friends in a rock quarry.

The Searching for Bigfoot Expedition Team led by World Renowned Bigfoot Hunter Tom Biscardi, TJ Biscardi, Steve Kulls, Tim McMillen and videographer Brian Mazzola spent a night at the location.

Earlier in the day the team discovered a Ford Pickup Truck in a ravine with its lights still on. The team rushed to the scene expecting to find a stranded or injured motorist but instead found the vehicle to be unoccupied. The team notified the police and proceeded to continue on with their investigation.

That night Kulls and Mazzola while placing equipment and conducting surveillance observed rock falling from the quarry edge but was unable to determine what had caused such to occur.

There were no further observances or instances that night. The Searching for Bigfoot moved on to their next location from there.

Montana_November_07

The Searching for Bigfoot Team traveled to Montana in Late November to speak with their good friends, The Blackfeet Nation and their contacts Bruce and Donna Shildt and Hiram and Kari Upham. The team also spoke with several witnesses whom had encounters in the latter part of the summer and caught up with more good friends from earlier trips to this wonderful place.

After the visits in Montana, the team moved on towards Alabama.

The Searching for Bigfoot Expedition Team in December paid a visit to their friends, Chuck Creel and Mike Sims in Alabama to follow up the Bigfoot Response Team's encounter with a hairy biped several weeks earlier.

Three nights were spent on surveillance in the cow pasture where cows had been mysteriously dying, (See the Bigfoot Response Team's Report from earlier)

On the first two nights a lone blood curdling scream was heard, around 1 AM, to which none of the local contacts could identify. But despite infrared camera traps, thermal image surveillance and a parabolic microphone audio trap, the creature remained elusive.

Investigators search for Big Foot in Battens community

Is it just folklore or real? Native Americans called it “Sasquatch”, a legend that has crept in the minds of many since 1967, when a video was released of an unknown creature shown walking in a deep-wooded area. Californian Tom Biscardi, since viewing the film in ‘67, knew this would become his life’s work, his destiny - to find evidence and do research of “Big Foot”.

Monday afternoon, Biscardi and his team of five investigators, arrived from Oklahoma at the home of Charles Creel in the Battens community. The team will stay for three days collecting evidence that Big Foot and a “family pod” may be roaming in woods along a creek on more than 1,000 acres of land.

Three weeks ago, Biscardi said he sent a preliminary team of investigators to the Battens community.

“I don’t go to a place like this unless there has been evidence showing that a family pod of Big Foot may be in these woods,” he said. “The preliminary team found footprints that seem to belong to an unknown creature and that’s why we came all the way from a site in Oklahoma. We believe that there may be more evidence here and if there is, we’ll find it.”

Biscardi said he believed there were more than 3,500 Big Foots across America.
“They are nomads. They never stay at a place very long and they only hunt at night. I’ve been doing this for 34 years and I’ve seen enough evidence to believe that there is a type of an unknown creature that exists,” he said.

Biscardi claims to have evidence of a Big Foot skeleton, a hand and hair sample of the creature.

“We took the hair sample to forensics and it came back as of ‘unknown origin.’ We also let doctors examine the hand and they don’t know what it is. It isn’t a bear or a type of gorilla. It’s not anything they’ve never seen before,” he said. “The evidence we’ve gathered all simply comes back unknown.”

Biscardi said he, along with all the team members, have had personal encounters with the creature.
“I came face to face within 12-feet of one,” he said. “It was very, very tall, hairy, but with lighter face features,” he said. “I’ve had a total of six personal encounters with it and that just makes me want to search more to prove that they exist.”

Creel said he had been in contact with Biscardi and his team for about a year.
“There’s a big cattle farm here with thousands of acres and we found two cows with their necks broken and all their inside organs taken out. Whatever or whoever it was just left the meat,” he said. “There were another two cows that disappeared.”

According to Biscardi, the creature migrates from north to south and south to north.
“ We want to try to capture one on their migratory path and I believe that this area could be a place where they are staying for awhile. The footprint we have is 16 inches long, 9 inches across and 4 inches on the heel. They’re usually big, but this one seems to be huge.”

All the factors for a Big Foot family seem to in the Battens community inside the deep wooded areas of the land the team will search.
“It’s got all they need to survive,” he said. “You’ve got a big creek, you’ve got cattle and food sources and you’ve got some deep woods that can bed in and hide. They seem to not like humans or go near them unless they feel threatened.”

The team, dressed in thick hunting clothes and gear for the night search Monday, starts taking out equipment from a Big Foot trailer.
Six infrared cameras and night-vision video equipment are used in a search, along with thermal imaging cameras and train-trip cameras.

The team also carries biopsy darts, which are available to shoot at the creature.

“The biopsy darts go into the creature and gather blood and hair samples, then pop out so we can gather it and then have it examined,” Biscardi said. “We also have tranquilizer guns and a large net that shoots from a canon-type device. We also have a bionic-ear that will pick up sounds we can hardly hear from around a mile away.”

Around 8 p.m. Monday night, the team prepares to go on the hunt for Big Foot. In the cold 34-degree weather, the team traveled along with Creel, residents Brandon Sims from the Damascus area and Anthony Mitchell of Chancellor.

“I believe the Big Foot phenomenon has crossed over the main stream America. It’s amazing because more and more people across the county are sharing their stories because of the work we’ve done,” Biscardi said. “We’ve traveled throughout this whole country to hear the stories and see footprint and photo evidence that Big Foot really exists.

Biscardi, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Searching for Bigfoot Inc., said the live radio broadcasts had gone to more than 27 countries and the website, www.searchingforbigfoot.com, receives thousands of hits daily.

“I’m very serious about this or I wouldn’t have been in it for 34 years,” he said. “I know it exists. I just have to prove it to the whole world.”
Biscardi said his journey on this quest would end the minute a Big Foot is captured live.

“My journey would be complete and I know that one day we’ll have the evidence needed to prove that another type of creature lives among us.”

Honey Island Swamp Monster 12-07

The Searching for Bigfoot Team, in early December met with Dana Holyfield, granddaughter of Harlan Ford whom first found the infamous three toed tracks of the now famous Swamp Monster that roams the bayous around Honey Island, Louisiana.

Dana's husband Terrill and his friend Bob Sawyer led the team into the swamps on a dark night through treacherous waters and terrain. The swamps were loaded with gators as the Team reached their destination, and traveled inland on Honey Island for about a mile.

The team tried some tree knocking and vocalizations and received a single shrieking vocalization in return.

On the return trip one of the swamp boats nearly capsized being caught on some swamp debris, but was saved by the quick actions of Tim McMillen

The Team plans to return to the area for an extended stay in the very near future.

NITE TIME VISIT IN OKLAHOMA

The Searching for Bigfoot Team traveled to Oklahoma in early December to meet with local residents who've had encounters with a large hairy biped on their property.

The night surveillance yielded no results but the team plans a return to the area in the near future

QUICK STOP IN PENNSYLVANIA

The Searching for Bigfoot Team in early December travelled to Pennsylvania to meet with Eric Altman, Director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and meet with several witnesses including a Park Ranger from the Parker Dam State Park. Very little time to do a full investigation, but we did meet our contacts and began making arrangements to return for a detailed study. The Team will return in the spring to research the area.
