NEW MEXICO MARCH 08

Some of the ancient pictographs found in this area...

The Searching for Bigfoot team has made it back to visit some of our friends in Farmington New Mexico and it’s surrounding areas. Farmington is located in the Four Corners area of the United States. Within about 30 minutes drive from here, you can be in either Arizona, Utah, Colorado, or New Mexico thus, the name Four Corner.

Four Corners has some of the most spectacular and diverse terrain to be found anywhere in the United States. It is the home of several of the most important and influential of the First Nation peoples to be found anywhere. It is the traditional homeland of the Dine’ Navajo, the Southern Ute, the Jicarilla Apache’, and many more.

This is our fourth visit to this area since May of 2006. We have met and maintained friendships with a great many fine people here, including JC Johnson, Leonard Dan, Dave Ortiz, and Jonathon Lee of the Crypto Four Corners organization. You can check it out at; http://www.untameddimensions.com/c.html We have also checked in with our old friend Ray Mahlmann and met at least a dozen more new friends.

We tried to follow up on some interesting areas we had seen before, beginning with a two day stay up in the Lukachukai Mountain range. We followed by going back to a cave near the San Juan River. Last visit, we found corn cobs in the cave even though it was over three miles away from where any corn had been grown. Inside the cave the team found bare corn cobs and many corn husks. We wanted to see if there were more corn husks inside, or any other signs of habitation in the area.

TJ Biscardi reports on his experience in the Lukachukais:

TJ Report: Sun 07:28 April 08 Lukachukai Mountain Range
While on watch sitting at the 7800 foot elevation I noticed a black object contrasting against the grey landscape moving from the 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock about the 9500 foot elevation just below a rock out-cropping. My first thought was to dismiss it away as a Roosevelt elk or mule dear. Once I realized it couldn’t have been either because of the distance from our base camp to the unknown object, I stood up to try to get a better look and vantage point so I could identify it, I then reached down to grab the binoculars and searched franticly along the area to see what it actually was that caught my eye. Unfortunately, whatever I had seen had already moved into the tree line and was no longer visible. I stayed watching for addition 2 hours not wanting to give up my vantage point to the next team member. Analysis, according to our local Dine' Guide, the mule dear and Roosevelt elk in the area would have not been large enough for me to see at the mile plus distance! ? ! ?

TJ and Steve Kulls checking out the area where TJ had his unusual sighting - - More of the area we monitored

Leonard Dan, our Dine' guide told me, there where only two possibilities left, it was either a black bear or our large hairy biped. He then knocked the bear off the list saying that the black bear populations in the area are 200-300 pound in weight on average and the largest he has known to have been reported in his 69 years of growing up in the area was about 500 pounds. Was what I saw a Sasquatch ???? I don’t know and I cannot, with 100% certainty, know. What I do know is that it was large enough to startle me out of my daze from staring for several hours and seemed to "be bop" across the area quickly enough to get my attention.
End of my report - TJ

Steve Kulls, TJ Biscardi, and JavaBob - - The cliffs we climbed to investigate the cave

This time we only found about four pieces of corn cob and no other signs of habitation except for the bird and bat guano that had accumulated on the floor of the cave. We traveled through the cave until it exited on the far side of the mountain, but no significant finds were made.

Entering the front of the cave - - The opening at the back of the cave

After our visit to the cave, we headed out to Arizona to check out an area were more recent reports of sightings had been reported. The area was also rich in history. An area where the local Native Peoples had many battles with the invading Spanish Conquistadors! Our guide, Leonard Dan, told us to keep our eyes open for artifacts. He said it is not uncommon to find old swords, armor, and muskets.

The road we traveled to get to the area of the recent sighting - - An old iron artifact that our guide found
The artifact found may be a broken part of a Spanish Pike!

We did not find any signs of our elusive friend and eventually headed back to Farmington to write up our reports and get ready for the long trip back home. In Farmington, we met Dave Folk, the owner and operator of Java Junction. David was nice enough to give us some wonderful hot coffee and allowed us to use his Wireless Internet to update our computers. I strongly suggest that if you ever find yourself in Farmington N.M. you stop in and tell Dave...

JavaBob sent you!!

While back in town, Steve Kulls got a chance to interview more people and investigate some other issues we discovered in the area. Here is Steve's report on just a little of what he discovered:

Report from Steve Kulls:
We encountered several different witnesses. One of the more compelling reports came from "MJ" who stated her Grandmother in the 90’s had a habituation in the Dulce, New Mexico area. The Grandmother would allegedly feed the creature by placing food in a refrigerator which was kept outside her domicile. Contrary to the Navajo belief, the grandmother was Jicarilla Apache, and thought an encounter with a creature to be good luck rather than bad.

The Grandmother, unfortunately passed several years ago and neither the house nor the refrigerator is available for inspection. There has been no additional activity in this general area, recently. "MJ" also told us of her own encounter in which she, along with a male companion, observed a black, hairy, biped with a large cow under it’s arm! It turned and glanced at them briefly and stepped over a 5 foot fence! The interesting fact is "MJ" remembers more of the cow’s description than that of the creature, as it all totally shocked her!

Also, I am currently investigating a plane crash which occurred near here in the Chuska Mountains, in 1995 in which official reports stated the bodies from the plane had been removed from the craft and laid neatly next to each other under the fuselage, buried in pine needles prior to any human intervention in locating the crash. As of this writing, I currently have the National Transportation Safety Board Accident Report and several media articles covering the crash. The link to the NTSB report is: http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/GenPDF.asp?id=FTW95FA349&rpt=fa I will be compiling more of this report as time allows and will share my findings with you through this site.
End of my report – Steve Kulls
