Possibly The Greatest Bigfoot Find of The Century

On April 19th, 2006 the Searching for Bigfoot team, lead by Tom Biscardi, went to Idaho to meet with Don Monroe. Don Monroe is, in his words, a “true world adventurer”. Tom Biscardi had been lead to Don after one of Tom’s radio interviews. Greg Wright had heard Tom on a Coast to Coast Radio broadcast and contacted Tom to suggest he talk to and meet Don Monroe. Tom eventually tracked Don down by phone and after several phone meetings, the two men decided to meet in person.

Tom Biscardi and the Searching for Bigfoot team drove from California to Pocatello, Idaho to meet Don at a local restaurant. We were all very surprised to meet a very active and fit “young man” in his early 70’s! Don Monroe was a character who seemed to walk directly out of the pages of a novel written about the old west. He came into the restaurant carrying a couple of plain cardboard boxes. He was dressed in denims and sported a unique western style 10 gallon hat and roping style cowboy boots. Once he entered the room, everyone there could physically feel the high level of energy he brought with him!

After a short while of just “chewing the fat” and sharing stories of past adventures, Don opened some of his boxes. He laid some plaster casts he had collected over the years on the table in front of us. He had several very interesting foot prints, but most of the prints he produced were hand prints. Some of the hand prints clearly showed dermal ridges, but all of the hand prints, although very human like, were anatomically different than this writer would expect for a human hand. Next, Don showed us some pictures of different types of hand structures for primates. Although similar, we could match his prints to any of the pictures we were shown.

Don had clearly gotten our attention. He went on to tell us, “What I am about to show you next will blow your minds!” He reached around behind him and produced one more box. He did not open it right away, instead he began to explain why he wanted to entrust this artifact with Tom Biscardi and the Searching for Bigfoot team.

It seems that this artifact had been in his possession since 2003 and that Don had attempted to have it positively identified for the past three years. However, due to the controversial subject matter, and the extremely high costs involved for the scientific testing required, he had not been successful. It seems that after following Tom Biscardi’s career over the past thirty plus years, and how Tom was able to handle the controversy that surrounds this subject and because Tom always deals with all of the negativism and controversy head on in an open and upfront matter, Don felt that Tom Biscardi would be the only person in the field who could help him discover the truth about this artifact! Don Monroe had been attempting to unravel the mystery around this artifact for three years. He had sent it to forensic experts all over the country with no firm results. Experts that included police departments, doctors, and even the L.A. County Coroner, but the only replies he got were… “..not human and not any known animal…”!

Tom Biscardi and the Searching for Bigfoot team now have this artifact in their possession and are beginning to do the arduous research to get the facts about this mysterious find. We expect to be able to release pictures and more information about this find in the very near future. Stay tuned for more exciting news about what just might be the biggest archeological breakthrough in this century!
