Dan Hamilton Incident Explaination

(The story as I have heard it, was that out of a 5 person team, only Dan Hamilton survied an attack from an Ape like creature. I was unable to verify this story...) The following is an explaination as to why the video of that incident was not in the actual film...

In late 2005 our darkest fears were confirmed when a group of 5 people went on their 2nd annual trek into the extremely remote and virtually inaccessible region of the rocky mountains know as Sylvanic. What precisely happened over their 3-day ordeal will undoubtedly be a subject of controversy that will be debated for years to come. But what seems certain is the Sylvanic regions viability as a research site for future studies of the animals commonly referred to as Bigfoot, has been forever irreparably compromised.

Dan’s incident confirms so much we were uncertain of and teaches several very important lessons. Without the knowledge and understanding we acquired from Dan’s incident my team and I would not have survived our June 2006 expedition to tranquilize one of these animals. It is this chain of events that followed Dan’s incident that made it become absolutely necessary for us to go public with our information. It will also help explain our reasoning for getting protection for a species that has not yet been conclusively proven to exist; why, in essence, we have put the cart before the horse.

Dan Hamilton’s testimony is supported by half a dozen witnesses including forest rangers, search and rescue teams and media personal that were actually there. But the most conclusive evidence that supports Dan’s testimony is the actual footage he himself recorded. Footage so shocking and revealing that the families of the victims involved have strongly protested it ever being publicly displayed. So out of respect for the families involved and the importance of the story that needed to be told a decision was made to actualize the events that unfolded that summer weekend. It is not our intention to reenact but actualize as precisely as possible, using original sounds, locations, lighting, and cameras wherever possible, exactly the way it originally happened.

Dan agreed to allow us to make this documentary because he didn’t want the last accounting of his good friends to be the unsubstantiated lies that where contrived by those responsible for the Sylvanic cover-up. So we will attempt to tell the truth and expose the exploitation of these animals before they are ever conclusively proven to exist. Or at the very least we hope to educate others like me that would suffer the consequences of any attempt to incapacitate, harm, kill, or even closely study this unique species. Dan’s incident may be the last story of Sylvanic but it is our hope that this documentary and our research will lead to the most significant scientific discovery of our time before it is to late.
