Analysis by Steve Kulls

Tom here is my summation of the pictures submitted by the Hans Mobius from Clarence, NY:

I would classify this as a hoax for the following reasons:

Film Apsects:

All three pictures were taken with a Pentax Optio 330 Digital Camera All three pictures were taken on May 27, 2006, Picture 1 at 12:45 PM the second and third at 12:46 PM. The focal length is 8mm and the exposure time is 1/800 of a second. In each picture there is a slight variation of angle but the photogrpaher appears to remain in one location.

"Hans Mobius says he was clearing brush on his large horse farm Saturday, and was taking pictures of a wooded area he might clear"

Story Anomalies:

Why would one take pictures of an area they might want to clear....call me crazy??

Film Anomalies:

1. The subject in the film appears tall due to being on an elevated patch, noting the John Deere cart's wheels appear slightly depressed from the shooter's aspect and at slightly at an angle tilted towards the camera locale.The subject's feet would begin in the vicinity of where the top of the tires begin. A rough estimate, (The John Deere Gator's height is 74.8 Inches*) would estimate the filmed subject at about 6' tall. (given the extra for the costume head)

2. Photographer stated he was 200 feet away, The pictures show no indicators of the use of a telephoto lens, and would appear to be approximately 50 - 60 feet. Tests of a similar focal length could be used to prove this.

(Again I have spent 17 years studying video and photos and estimations of distance, height, weight etc)

Subject Anomalies:

1. There appears in all pictures to be bunching of fur (back, hips, neck), indicative of a costume.

2. In the third picture it appears that the left hand appears "glossy" and fur doesn't begin until the wrist, indicative of a glove of a costume. On both hands there appears to be a "ploofing" where the fur begins, another indicator of a costume.

Anatomical Indicators of a hoax:

(Indicators contradictory to known Sasquatch Reports and film)

1. Lack of sagital crest.
2. Presence of a neck.
3. Arm-leg comparison similar to that of a human.
4. Fingers appear stubby.
5. Even colored, clean fur. (No differentiations, no wear, no matting)

Behavioral Aspects:

Similar to the Sonoma video, in the third picture creature turns around. Almost to appear it's trying to catch something. As we know these creatures are extremely alert and not once does the photographer catch a pose of the subject acknowledging the photographer's presence. Also a minute elapsed for all three pictures, usually the creature would just walk away. It does not act like a wild animal.
